NEW OONI OF IFE TO BE CROWNED NOVEMBER, 30TH

Oba Adeyeye, Ojaja II -  Ooni of Ile-Ife

Official statement from the royal palace of Ile-Ife has confirmed that the new Ooni will be crowned on th 30th of November, 2015. The coronation day which is expected to attract different personalities across the world will see Oba Adeyeye, the Ojaja II of Ife take the position of the late Olubuse II, Oba Okunade Sijuwade who passed on in a foreign hospital while on medical treatment.

Selection of Oba Adeyeye has altered the popular saying "Youths are the leader of tomorrow".  The new Oba,  in his early forties will take charge of one of the most respected royal positions in Nigeria, the Ooni, which is arguably one of the most respected seats across Nigeria.
