In a seemingly scarce period of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS - Petrol), a tanker loaded with petrol on route to Egbeda - LASU/Isheri road axis was involved in an accident at Iyanapaja just by the link bridge between Agege and Iyanapaja.
The accident which led to the fire incident was reported to have happened between 12 a.m and 4 a.m this morning. Residential buildings, shops, vehicles as well as valuables (that could not be accounted for as at the time of this report) were destroyed.
An eyewitness, giving his account; "even though it was a tragic incident, they have a lot to thank God for as the scene is usually busy during the day with over 10,000 persons involved with activities at a time" he said.
