Vacant Positions

1. JOB TITLE: Lecturer Officer II (Welding Engineering and Offshore Technology)

Qualification:

• B.Eng/B.Sc Material & Metallurgy/ Mechanical;
• Welding /Marine or Production Engineering;
• Minimum of Second Class Honours Lower Division;
• A higher degree will be an added advantage.

 Experience/Specialisation:

• Two years post NYSC cognate experience; in  Welding, Material Testing, NDT, Subsea Operation.

2. JOB TITLE: Diving Instructor (Welding Engineering and Offshore Technology)

Qualification:

• HSE Class II Diving Certificate or ITS Equivalent;
• Minimum of ND in Welding and Fabrication/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Technology or Marine Biology.

Experience/Specialisation

• Two years cognate experience; in Chamber Operator, Equipment Maintenance, Dive Medic & First Aid.

3. JOB TITLE: Job Title: Diving Technician (Welding Engineering and Offshore Technology)

Qualification:

• Commercial Diving Class 1;
• ND or City & Guilds Part II & ITS Equivalent in Mechanical Engineering/Welding Fabrication Technology.

Experience/Specialisation

• Four years cognate experience; in Equipment Maintenance & First Aid.

4. JOB TITLE: Machinist (Welding Engineering and Offshore Technology)

Qualification:

• ND or City & Guilds Part II & ITS Equivalent in Mechanical Engineering Technology.

Experience/Specialisation:

• Four years cognate experience; in Lathe, Milling and Drilling Machine Operations.

6. JOB TITLE: Petroleum Engineering Lecturer Officer II (Petroleum Engineering and Geosciences)

Qualification:

• BS.c Engineering with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division OR BSc Geophysics with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division;
• A higher degree will be an added advantage.

Experience/Specialisation

• Two years post NYSC cognate experience;
• COREN registrable and any other relevant professional body.

7. JOB TITLE: Mining Engineering Lecturers Officer II ((Petroleum Engineering and Geosciences)

Qualification:

• BS.c Engineering with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division;
• A higher degree will be an added advantage.

Experience/Specialisation:

• Two years post NYSC cognate experience;
• COREN registrable and any other relevant professional body.

8. JOB TITLE: Technologists (Petroleum Engineering and Geosciences)

Qualification

• HND Petroleum Engineering with at least Lower Credit;

Experience/Specialisation

• Two years post NYSC cognate experience in the Oil Industry.

9. Job Title: Technicians (Petroleum Engineering and Geosciences)

Qualification:

• ND Petroleum/ND Mineral Resources Engineering with at least Lower Credit;

Experience/Specialisation

• Four years post experience.

10. JOB TITLE: Rig Electricians (Petroleum Engineering and Geosciences)

Qualification:

• C&G/NABTEB;
• ND Equivalent.

Experience/Specialisation

• Four years experience (Hands-on).

11. JOB TITLE: Rig Mechanics (Petroleum Engineering and Geosciences)

Qualification:

• C&G/NABTEB;
• ND Equivalent.

Experience/Specialisation:

• Four years experience (Hands-on);
• Rig experience on maintenance/repairs of flat diesel engine, mud pumps, compressor.

12. JOB TITLE: Lecturer Officer 1 (Petroleum and Natural Gas Processing)

Qualification:

• Minimum of M. Eng/ Chemical Engineering.

Experience/Specialisation

• Minimum of two years post NYSC cognate experience;
• Knowledge of relevant computer application software.

13. JOB TITLE: : Lecturer Officer 11 A (Petroleum and Natural Gas Processing)

Qualification:

• Minimum of B.Sc/B.Eng Chemical Engineering at least Second Class Lower Division;
• A higher degree will be an added advantage.

Experience/Specialisation:

• Minimum of two years post NYSC cognate experience;
• Knowledge of relevant computer application software.

14. JOB TITLE: Lecturer Officer 11 B (Petroleum and Natural Gas Processing)

Qualification:

• Minimum of B.Sc/B.Eng Gas Engineering at least Second Class Lower Division;
• A higher degree will be an added advantage.

Experience/Specialisation

• Minimum of two years post NYSC cognate experience;
• Knowledge of relevant computer application software.

15. JOB TITLE: Lecturer Officer 11 C (Petroleum and Natural Gas Processing)

Qualification:

• Minimum of B.Sc Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry at least Second Class Lower Division; 
• A higher degree will be an added advantage.

Experience/Specialisation:

• Minimum of two years post NYSC cognate experience;
• Knowledge of relevant computer application software
