Senator Oluremi Tinubu

Wife of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senator Oluremi Tinubu shortly after receiving her certificate of return had this to say to her overwhelming supporters.

Thank you all for my
victory and return to the senate has a
victory for the people of Lagos Central
federal constituency, Lagos state and
also for democracy, I thanked all
the voters for their support since for my re-
election campaign begun. “Months ago,
when we declared the official opening
of our campaign for the continuous
struggle for emancipation of our people and for the defence of our 16 year
democracy, I deemed it fit to reach out
to you as a servant leader whose
service to the people has evidently
changed the concept of leadership and
governance in our society, and not as a candidate. Journey so far
unarguable recorded many hitches, ills
and faring storms. “We walked through
victoriously with your prayers,
unflinching supports and unwaverng
strength which has ushered in a historical victory for you the people. “Your resolve and elastic supports
brought us thus far and I am confident
that the change has come. No doubt, it has
been absorbed in history that we are
movers and shakers of our choices.” “Saturday, 28th March through Sunday,
our people decided. Following the
senatorial elections held in Lagos, the
Independent National Electoral
Commission (INEC) has officially
returned me, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the
winner of the election,” noted that: “Apparently, this is the
will of the People. The result of the
elections is an expression of the voice
of our people; we must all heed your
voice. “It has been a hard fought election. In
the course of the campaigns, there were
grubby episodes as the candidates
toured round the constituents to sell
them selves to the people. “On our part, we presented our
programmes before the people, and
party leaders. We campaigned, we
canvassed and we traversed the
se natorial district. Our performance and
achievements in office remains the back drop on which we were being
assessed. The decision of the people to
return me as their representative is
continually wit

SCARCITY OF PETROLEUM PRODUCTS - EFFECTS OF A FAILED GOVERNMENT

Never before has Nigeria experienced the fuel situation presently as we have seen. This is a clear indication that the out-going administration had never really been sincere with the situation.

That is not far fetched, with a staggering amount of #196 billion subsidy claim not properly accounted for and the fear of the new administration, there is room for subsidy claim unaccounted for. The situation was clearly reflected in the following messages sent by organisations to various communication channels:

Gauranty Trust Bank had this to say

Dear customer,
NOTICE OF EARLY CLOSURE OF BRANCHES
The current shortage of petroleum products in the country has limited our ability to supply diesel to all our branches in order to continue normal branch operations.

Due to this, we unavoidably have to close branches nationwide by 1pm from Monday, 12th May, 2015.

Whilst we had to take this step to close branch operations early, we would like to seek your understanding  at this time, and assure you that we will continue to work hard at finding alternative solutions to this situation and will advise you once the situation has abated.

We sincerely apologise for every inconvenience this might cause you.

Thank you for banking with us.

MTN NIGERIA

Dear  customer, due to the diesel scarcity nationwide you may experience degraded services. we are working hard to address the situation. Please bear with us.

ACCESS BANK
Due to the fuel crisis, branches in Lagos, Abuja and Kaduna will close by 1pm.  Please visit our website for other branches and selected branches in Lagos and Abuja closing by 3pm.

The situation got bad when Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) had to sell for between #400 and #600 per litre at the filling station, diesel sold for as high as #350 to #400 per litre at filling station where there were available.

The good news however, Capital Oil boss, Andy Uba had promised to start supply at 300 tankers delivered per day as at 25th May.

More so, the strike by the Oil marketers in protest against the Federal government for non-payment of  their subsidy was called off after both parties came to an understanding with the intervention of the senate committee on petroleum products.

With the latest developments, the pump prices for PMS across filling station has reduced to between #150 and #170 per litre. This situation looks promising as prices are expected to return to normal as the week runs out.

MEET YEMISI KUDEHINBU, CHRIST EMBASSY FEMALE PASTOR WHO CRASHED CHRIS & ANITA OYAKHILOME’S MARRIAGE

Pastor Chris and Pastor (Mrs) Yemisi Kudehinbu

Though details are still sketchy, fillers emanating suggest that Chris Oyakhilome, Senior Pastor of the Christ Embassy Church may have finally come to his senses, ditched his bevy of ladies and reconciled with his wife, Anita Oyakhilome (Nee Ebodaghe). In the height of their marital crisis, Anita had sought divorce based on what she described as her husband’s inexplicable behaviour.

Investigation revealed that Chris over time had developed a habit of surrounding himself with female church members, some of who lived with him in his Lagos home, popularly
referred to as « White House.»

Some of the ladies, particularly one Pastor Yemisi Kudehinbu, a pharmacy graduate of the University of Lagos who is in her late forties played the role of his wife. Her closeness to Chris Oyakhilome dates back to the 90’s, when she was a Pastor of the Christ Embassy Student Fellowship (Believers Love World).

As soon as Anita travelled to London over the failing health of one of their daughters, Yemisi moved in with Chris. She lived with him, cooked for him, bought his clothes, drove him around and travelled everywhere with him. However, she moved out anytime Anita was in Nigeria, but returned as soon as Anita travelled back to London.

Even after their daughter fully recovered from her ailment, Anita was not allowed to return to Nigeria, she was only allowed to visit during Church programmes, such as camp meeting e.t.c. Elder T. Oyakhilome, Chris Oyakhilome’s father intervened several times, but his efforts were rebuffed by his son.

While Anita Oyakhilome was only allowed to visit her matrimonial home, Yemisi lived and thrived there. Yemisi became so powerful within Christ Embassy that she could hire and fire, she began to override decisions by many senior pastors in the ministry including Anita.

Irked by this and many other development which we can’t pen down, Anita Oyakhilome sought to be accorded more respect in her home and the ministry she co-founded. When her request was rebuffed by her husband, Chris Oyakhilome, she quit her job as Pastor, stopped attending the Church and filed for divorce.”

Chris Oyakhilome responded with a televised broadcast, saying:

« A child of God must not divorce . » “My wife (Anita) is a bitter woman. I am not a preacher, I am a man of God, where was the wife of Peter or Paul mentioned in the Bible.”

This assertion made many question to Chris Oyakhilome’s understanding of the scriptures, because Paul, whom he cited his name, urged Christian men to deal with their wife with understanding. Paul called the wife joint- heir of the grace of life and that if a man does not treat his spouse right his prayer will be blocked.

In the heat of the crisis, Pastor Chris transferred his chief security officer, Pastor Pat, from Lagos to Benin for informing his (Chris) mother about his ordeal and suspended a female pastor who raised prayer request for his marriage.

Our checks reveal that Pastor Yemisi Kudehinbu, who lived with Chris Oyakhilome for more than 18 years playing wifey, had threatened to expose him, if he ever returned to his real wife (Anita). However, it remains to be seen if she will carry out her threat.
Pastor Chris had better braced up himself now, because if this over-ambitious Yemisi eva pushes on wit her threat 2 expose him, it would shake d media world, & many newspapers would sell like fire. I strongly feel dat dis Yemisi must hav given him bedroom service among oda roles she playd 4 him. There are certain temptations dat d bible did not tell us 2 resist, but 2 flee frm. Pastor Chris made d mistake of thinking he could resist all.
