ARSENAL TO START NEW SEASON ON A HIGH

The new premiership season might bring a lot of positives for Arsenal if its players remain consistent and fit for the new season going by their exploit in both the Copa America 2016 and Euro 2016 going on in USA and France respectively.

Arsenal will host Liverpool on the opening day of the 2016/17 Premier League season. See highlights of players in both tournament.

• Laurent Koscielny kept a clean sheet as France beat Albania 2-0. 
• Aaron Ramsey claimed an assist as Wales defeated Slovakia 2-1.
• Mesut Ozil set up Bastian Schweinsteiger's goal in Germany’s 2-0 win against Ukraine. 
• Wojciech Szczesny kept a clean sheet in Poland’s 1-0 win against Northern Ireland. 
• Granit Xhaka was named man of the match as Switzerland drew 1-1 with Romania.
• Jack Wilshere featured in England’s 1-1 draw with Russia. 
• Petr Cech and Thomas Rosicky played in the Czech Republic’s 1-0 defeat to Spain.
• David Ospina’s Colombia reached the Copa America quarter-finals after finishing second in their group.
• Joel Campbell’s Costa Rica were eliminated.

Though but tournament are still on, if the players keep up with the feat achieved so far, the season looks promising for the gunners.
